At the Nursery

This is your first picture right after birth. Your Dad is so excited he didn't know what to do, whether to take care of me or just to stare at you who was still inside the nursery room of Davao Doctor's Hospital.

The Proud Parents

The nurse asked if we would want you to be with us or we'd let you stay in the nursery for a while until I'd be able to get some rest. I did not waste any time and I told the nurse to bring you to us as soon as possible.

Your Daddy and I can not express in words the emotions we have the moment we saw you. We can't get enough of you. Your Daddy won't stop taking pictures.



First Diaper Change
Your Dad was a first-timer in changing diaper and you were already naughty from day 1 so when Daddy was changing your diaper you peed at him and he didn't know what to do! It was funny but wonderful.

The Conception

April 17,2006...I was 5 days delayed. I sometimes have my period 1-3 days delayed but never this long. A close friend of mine told me to wait for a week or seven days until I get a pregnancy test. But maybe I am so excited or just too anxious to know that I wasn't able to wait for another 2 days to get my self tested. So after I got off work, I went straight to the pharmacy to buy a pregnancy test. Upon reaching my flat, I didn't waste time and started the test right away. The waiting was excruciating. It was the longest 2 minutes of my life! My heart was thumping like crazy. Then there it was... As I saw the line on the second window, there was a mixed emotion - happiness and fear. Happy because I knew I've waited so long for this and I am more thrilled to be having it with the man I love. But I was terrified at the same time because I know that this is a huge, in fact more than huge, responsibility that anyone will ever have. But for someone who's fearful, there was a smile on my lips.The moment I saw that line on the second window, I knew my life would never be the same again. I've waited so long for this. I can't wait until I feel you inside me and eventually hold you in my arms...
